The Finance module facilitates all activities related to financial management. This module maintains and manages the financial aspect of all transactions processed through other modules, maintains financial status of the company and presents it through dashboards and reports. 

The Finance module facilitates maintenance of chart of accounts attached with multiple segment codes which enables the use of a single account while using segment codes to differentiate applicable branch, class, product, business type, etc. This module includes a data integration layer through which other modules can send their transaction details. Further this module facilitates definition of integration points and methods and data integrator function integrate all transactions into the Finance module according to the above definition. 

The Finance module facilitates financial budget management and it validates all transactions against budget availability. Further it facilitates bank reconciliation at any time of the period through either manual or automated processes. Additionally this module manages debtors and creditors and facilitates the generation of statements, transaction listings and ageing reports.
